Dumb Ass of the day: George Emmanuel
A Florida man might want to seek professional help after telling a cop he should be allowed to drive under the influence because he considers himself a "professional drinker."
George Emmanuel was flagged down by cops who clocked him going well over the 35 mile-per-hour speed limit in his Pinellas County neighborhood, and detained when officers noted a strong smell of alcohol wafting from him. The 54-year-old, who was slurring his words during the stop, told the trooper on scene to chill because he was "a professional drinker" and able to handle the two shots of whiskey he downed before getting behind the wheel.
Emmanuel blew a point-two-one on his breath test, nearly three times the legal limit in Florida, and spent the night behind bars.
